Cost Analysis of Deontics AI platform – KiTEC, King’s College London

• KiTEC used GSTT trial data to calculate the savings Deontics produces through the triage function (not discussing at MDT)
• NHS reference cost of £139 per case reviewed at MDT
• Using concept of annualisation (spreading capital costs over useful life of resource eg. license fee of Deontics) KiTEC calculated the savings earned for the MDT according to the % of patients triaged away from MDT discussion
• in GSTT prostate (33% triaged), savings of £32.30 per case.
